Ottakring's red-and-white municipal bath, open May to September, with a sports pool, a children's pool with its own slide and beach volleyball courts behind the changing cabins famous enough to have carried a music video. Regulars book the same lounger every summer and the buffet counter is part of the institution. Accessible fittings run to four WCs, three showers, two pool lifts, a ramp and a textured wave lane in the children's pool for visually impaired swimmers.
