Domplatz

The square in front of Salzburg Cathedral is the open-air stage for Jedermann, which premiered here on 22 August 1920 and has stood on the programme continuously since 1926, interrupted only between 1938 and 1945. It is a paved pedestrian square for the rest of the year, lit, asphalted, roughly 200 metres from the Grosses Festspielhaus. When the weather turns, the performance moves indoors to the Felsenreitschule.
