El Rey Theatre

Opened in 1936 as a movie house on the Miracle Mile, the Art Deco room was converted decades ago to a standing live-music venue, which is what the camera records: Sebastian playing keys with Keith's band, The Messengers, fronted by John Legend. The marquee and the terrazzo entrance survive from the cinema. It still books concerts under the same name.
