Pergamonmuseum
The house was built around objects too large to move again: the Pergamon Altar, the Babylonian Ishtar Gate with its glazed-brick mušḫuššu dragons, and the Mshatta Façade from Jordan. It combines the Vorderasiatisches Museum, the Museum für Islamische Kunst and part of the Antikensammlung, and it is closed until 2027. Some of the sculpture can be seen in the meantime at the Panorama exhibition nearby.
