Neues Museum
The building holds the Ägyptisches Museum und Papyrussammlung, whose best-known object is the bust of Nefertiti from Tell el-Amarna, dated by the museum to around 1351 to 1334 BC and donated by James Simon. The prehistoric Berlin Gold Hat is in the same house. It and the Pergamonmuseum have long been the most visited of the Berlin state museums.
