Villa Hügel

269 rooms across 8,100 square metres, built by Krupp as the family's representative seat in its own park above the Baldeneysee. The house stands as a document of the industrialisation and of the Krupp legend, and the Historisches Archiv Krupp supplies the scholarly basis for how it is presented. Villa and park together cost 5 euros; the park is open daily 8:00 to 20:00.
