Deutsches Bergbau-Museum

The demonstration mine below the building holds around 12 °C year round, and the winding tower above it carries a viewing platform at 71.40 metres. The permanent exhibition runs across the whole subject of mining, with temporary shows in the Schwarzer Diamant annexe. The museum is one of the Leibniz Association's research museums, its field being georesources.
