Chipperfield Kantine

The in-house canteen of David Chipperfield's architecture practice, in a Mitte backyard near the KW Institute, serving the public at lunch from noon to 2pm Monday to Friday. The cooking is seasonal and Mediterranean-leaning, built on surplus organic vegetables rescued by Querfeld, with bread, meat and fish from Brandenburg. The room is the firm's own minimalist build-out rather than a restaurant fit-out.
