Central Library

Rooms here work differently from the branches: neighborhood meeting rooms book free, while the Central Library's event spaces and meeting rooms are rented, and all of those facilities are accessible to people with disabilities. The garage at 1000 Fourth Ave. stays open on the Library's annual systemwide in-service day, when every branch garage is locked and nothing is due. Renovations here, plus elevator, escalator and HVAC work, sit inside the levy proposal going to voters.
