Polka

In the Marais since 2007 at 12, rue Saint-Gilles, the gallery attached to Polka magazine spreads two exhibition spaces across 300 m² and keeps a substantial photography bookshop alongside. The programme leans documentary and takes in Sebastião Salgado's black and white work, Joel Meyerowitz's colour, and the Detroit ruins of Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre. Opening nights draw a crowd of photographers as much as buyers.
