Stranger Than Paradise

Named after Jim Jarmusch's 1984 film and run by people who worked at Rough Trade East before opening their own shop, this one sits inside the converted warehouse that holds Mare Street Market, identified by a neon sign over the door. The racks are short and tightly edited: independent releases, good reissues, soundtracks, contemporary British jazz, plus merch, books and cassettes. Limited editions, signed copies and pre-orders are a large part of the trade.
