Royal Arcade
Completed in 1880, this Victorian arcade runs through the block from 12 Albemarle Street to 28 Old Bond Street in Mayfair, so it can be entered from either street without passing a door. It is the later, higher-roofed generation of London arcade, built when the Regency pattern of Burlington and the Royal Opera was already sixty years old.
