Princes Arcade
The last of the Piccadilly to Jermyn Street arcades, built between 1929 and 1933 on the site of the Princes Hotel, which Edward Robert Robson had designed for the same plot. It cuts straight through the block as a building passage rather than standing as a structure of its own, and the tenancies run to small menswear shops and boutiques. The Crown Estate, which holds the freehold, relaunched the arcade after a full refit.
