St Mary-at-Hill
The parish church of Billingsgate for close to a thousand years, and one of the first rebuilt after the Fire, completed in 1677 with Wren's assistant Robert Hooke believed to have had a hand in the work. It stands in Lovat Lane off Eastcheap, and was altered twice in the following century and a half, in 1787 to 1788 and again in 1826 to 1827. There is no step-free access.
