Prince Albert
One of two Brighton pubs at three stars, outstanding national historic importance, in a protected building dating from around 1840 and recorded as trading from 1848. The west elevation carries a replica of Banksy's 'Kissing Coppers', the original having been sold in 2014, and the gable mural runs through dead musicians from Hendrix to Winehouse. The kitchen does not operate: drinkers order in from nearby takeaways, and the upstairs room runs live music.
