Südkreuz

One of Berlin's four Category 1 stations, on Suadicanistraße, with quick connections to the airport and the city centre. It is carrying extra long-distance traffic while the Stadtbahn is shut: the ICE line to Düsseldorf and Cologne runs from and to Südkreuz via Hauptbahnhof, and the station is one of the five replacement stops for services that would normally call at Ostbahnhof or Zoologischer Garten. Long-distance coaches also stop here rather than only at ZOB.
