Berlin Ostbahnhof

Around 100,000 passengers pass through the Friedrichshain station on Straße der Pariser Kommune each day, with over 100 long-distance and over 200 local trains scheduled. Since 14 June 2026 the Stadtbahn between Charlottenburg and Ostbahnhof has been closed to regional and long-distance services, and that closure runs to 12 December 2026: replacement long-distance stops are at Südkreuz, Gesundbrunnen, Ostkreuz, Charlottenburg and Lichtenberg. The S-Bahn lines S3, S5, S7 and S9 still call here at their normal frequency, with step-free access on that route.
