Olympiastadion Berlin

Werner March's stadium of 1936 joins the Festival of Lights for the first time in 2026, the furthest west the programme has reached and a surface of a wholly different scale from a palace facade. It sits at Olympischer Platz 3, well outside the walkable Mitte chain, so it needs its own trip rather than a detour. The venue is step-free with accessible toilets.
