Gendarmenmarkt

The square's three set pieces, the Konzerthaus as Schauspielhaus am Gendarmenmarkt and the two domed churches, give the festival a symmetrical frame that few other locations offer. It falls naturally between the gate and the cathedral on the recommended one-evening chain of Brandenburger Tor, Gendarmenmarkt, Potsdamer Platz, Berliner Dom and Fernsehturm. The map pin is the four-space taxi rank on Charlottenstraße, on the square's western edge.
