Mercat de la Barceloneta

Dates from 1848, the same year as Santa Caterina, and began as an open-air market before the stalls were enclosed. It is the everyday food market for a dense fishing quarter rather than a destination hall, which shows in the Friday evening hours, the only weekday it trades past two.
