Donaukanal

The arm of the Danube that cuts through the centre and rejoins the river near the Cemetery of the Nameless. The poet-for-hire scene is filmed on the eastern bank just east of the Augartenbrücke, along the Friedl-Dicker-Brandeis-Promenade, with the Ringturm and Schottenring station on the opposite side. The stretch is now a continuous cycle and walking route.
