Mölker Steig

A narrow sett-paved passage that zigzags down from the Mölker Bastei, the last surviving stretch of the Renaissance city wall, toward Schreyvogelgasse. Céline and Jesse walk it while arguing about the differences between men and women, passing Beethoven's former house and the doorway at Schreyvogelgasse 8 where Harry Lime steps out of the shadows in The Third Man. The lane has carried the name since 1870.
