Teatro Gran Rex

Inaugurated in 1937 with more than 3,000 seats, which makes it the avenue's arena: international concert tours, large musicals, and family shows that fill it through the July winter holidays. The Art Deco facade is the one people photograph on the 800 block of Corrientes. Scale, not intimacy, is the reason a booking lands here rather than three doors down.
