MetLife Stadium

Opened in 2010 and shared by the New York Giants and New York Jets, it was rebranded New York New Jersey Stadium for the tournament and took eight matches, ending with the final on 19 July between Spain and Argentina. The pitch drew sustained criticism through the group stage and again on the night itself. Ownership sits with the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority.
