BC Place

Opened in 1983 on the north bank of False Creek and the main venue of the 2010 Winter Olympics, later refitted with a cable-supported retractable roof. It is home to the Vancouver Whitecaps and the BC Lions, the latter surrendering home dates to the seven matches played here, which ran through to the round of 16.
