Grünes Gewölbe
Installed in the Residenzschloss, the vault keeps the Saxon electors' jewels and goldsmith work in two separately ticketed parts, the Historic Green Vault and the New Green Vault. German papers covered the rooms' 300th year, among them the Rheinpfalz. Step-free access to the Residenzschloss museums runs from Sophienstraße and Taschenberg 2 rather than the courtyard entrance, and the Green Vault alone stays open later on Fridays than its neighbours in the building.
