A red-orange sunset burns behind a green spruce forest for the full length of the platform, painted by Karl-Olov Björk and Anders Åberg for the station's opening on 31 August 1975. Look closely and the landscape carries hundreds of hand-drawn vignettes plus small three-dimensional models set into the platform walls, arguing the 1970s case against deforestation and rural depopulation. The escalator shaft down is deep red, and only Blue Line trains signed for Akalla stop here, so check the destination before boarding: the branch to Hjulsta does not come this way.
