Cyclone Nancy (2005)
Forming out of an area of low pressure on 10 February 2005, Nancy organised quickly into a small but intense cyclone and was the second of four severe tropical cyclones to affect the Cook Islands that month. Winds estimated at up to 241 km/h wreaked havoc across the Southern Group of islands, which had already been hit by Cyclone Meena days earlier. The islands sustained significant damage over a five-week run of storms from the beginning of February to early March.
