All Hallows by the Tower
In the crypt museum of this church near the Tower of London are pieces of a tessellated floor and a plastered wall from a 2nd-century Roman house. A church has stood here since early medieval times, built over the remains of the house. The crypt also holds a small collection of other Roman objects and a model of the Roman city.
