Stadtpark
Stadtpark opened in 1897 as one of the small white street-level pavilions Wagner built above the newly regulated Wien river, along with Kettenbrückengasse and Pilgramgasse. Bombing in the Second World War and later planning decisions cost today's U4 several of Wagner's buildings, but Stadtpark was restored when the line was converted, and it keeps its white, green and gold scheme. The platform is below the street. The Johannesgasse end has stairs, and the Stadtpark end has stairs and a lift.
