Otto Wagner Hofpavillon Hietzing
Wagner built this pavilion in 1898 and 1899 as a private stop for Emperor Franz Joseph I at Hietzing station, next to Schönbrunn. The idea came from Wagner himself. The imperial waiting room is preserved as a listed monument and is now run by the Wien Museum. It opens Friday to Sunday, 10:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 17:00, and closes for winter from 1 October to 30 April. Adult entry is €5 and children go free.
