Otto Wagner's Stadtbahn stations in Vienna

Map of 6 locations in Vienna, Austria

The Stadtbahn opened in 1898, and Otto Wagner designed its station buildings and bridges, from the white pavilions over the regulated Wien river to the stations on the Gürtel. The lines survive today as the U4, the U6 and the S45, but not evenly. Bombing and later planning took much of Wagner's work on the U4, the U6 kept more of it, and three stations on the suburban loop were restored to close to his original design. These are the stations where his buildings can still be seen, and the fields show what each one is now used for.
