St Mary Woolnoth
Hawksmoor began the rebuilding in 1716 on a cramped Lombard Street plot a short walk from the Royal Exchange, paid for out of the coal tax funds the 1711 Act had set aside. It is the smallest of his six solo churches and the only one inside the City, listed Grade I since January 1950 under National Heritage List entry 1064620. There is no wheelchair access to the building.
