River Avenue Skate Park

Ten thousand square feet of concrete built on a slope beneath the elevated subway tracks a block from Yankee Stadium, laid out as a plaza with stairs, rails, ledges, benches, banks, gaps and a three-foot bowled-out section. Bikes, scooters and inline skates are permitted alongside boards, so it fills up differently from Pier 62. Hours run 6am to 10pm and a signed liability waiver is required.
