Astoria Skate Park

The park sits under the Queens approach to the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge, inside Astoria Park, which means the deck overhead keeps a good part of the surface dry. It is laid out as a street plaza rather than a bowl park: multiple levels linked by stairs, rails, banks and ledges at varying heights, with a parking lot directly in front. Open dawn to dusk, and the city requires a signed liability waiver.
