Menterschwaige

A former Wittelsbach estate in Harlaching, reached along a path lined with villas, with about 2,000 seats under the trees. The small Swiss-style chalet to one side of the garden is where King Ludwig I is said to have met Lola Montez at night. Augustiner on tap, and the Isar paths start a few minutes downhill.
