Augustiner Stammhaus
Behind a façade that disappears into the shopfronts of Neuhauser Straße sits one of the last Jugendstil interiors in Munich, known locally as Zum Augustiner and historically as the Wagner-Salons. The house also holds the Iberl-Bühne, one of very few tavern theatres anywhere. The kitchen stops at 23:00, Sunday service runs only 10:00 to 15:00, and the accessible toilet is reached by a steep ramp at fifteen per cent.
