Museo d'Arte Antica
On the ground floor of the Castello Sforzesco's Corte Ducale, in rooms decorated under the Visconti and the Sforza, the collection traces Milanese and Lombard sculpture and applied art from the late Roman period to the end of the sixteenth century. The equestrian monument to Bernabò Visconti and the funerary monument to Gaston de Foix are here, and the route takes in the Sala delle Asse painted by Leonardo da Vinci and the Cappella Ducale decorated by Bonifacio Bembo. Entry is paid, with free admission after 16:30 Tuesday to Sunday and from 14:00 on Tuesdays.
