Museo Archeologico
The archaeological section of the civic museums takes in the prehistory rooms and the Egyptian collection. Part of its holdings came from Carlo Dossi, whose early Christian and pre-Columbian finds from digs around Milan, Greece and South America were given to the Castello Sforzesco museum on condition that a museum be established there, a case his descendants pressed. The Comune lists it among the civic museums kept to the usual 10:00 to 17:30 hours, Ferragosto included.
