Casa Prieto López
Barragán sold 15,000 square metres on a prominent corner of Jardines del Pedregal to the lawyer Eduardo Prieto López in 1946, on generous terms, then designed the house that stands on it. Construction was held up by the early difficulties of the subdivision itself and the house was completed in 1950. It is the single house in Pedregal that Barragán both planned and built for a client, and it has since been restored as a private modernist residence.
