Casa Luis Barragán
The house and studio Barragán built for himself in Tacubaya, finished in 1948, and the one building where his own fittings, library and roof terrace survive as he left them. It became a museum run by a foundation that holds the property in co-ownership with the Government of the State of Jalisco, and it now works as a point of contact for scholars and architects trying to reach his other buildings in Mexico. UNESCO added it to the World Heritage List in 2004, the only single-architect house in the country on that list.
