Krause Music Store

William C. Presto was the architect of record for this two-storey shop in Lincoln Square in 1922, but he handed the front elevation to Sullivan, who was then near the end of his career with almost no work coming in. The green terra cotta façade, an ornamented panel rising above the shopfront to a crest, was his final commission and the last thing he designed to be built. It is a designated Chicago landmark and has changed hands as a commercial property in recent years.
