Freibad Hausen

Opened in 1904 as a river bath on the Nidda, converted to a basin pool in 1961 and reopened the same year once water heating had been retrofitted. The basin is covered by an inflatable hall for the winter, so the site operates in two modes across the year. Hours are the longest on this list: 06:30 to 20:00 every day including public holidays, which makes it the obvious choice for a swim before work. Step-free access throughout, and entry is charged.
