Freibad Eschersheim

One of the Nidda river baths later rebuilt as a basin pool, now a lido on Alexander-Riese-Weg with table tennis and beach volleyball alongside the water. Hours are long for a summer pool: 10:00 to 20:00 on weekdays, an hour earlier at weekends and through the Hessen school holidays. Entry is charged, and access to the grounds is permissive rather than public right of way.
