St. Cäcilien

The Förderverein sums up this ninth-century foundation in Altstadt-Süd as collegiate church, citizens' hospital and museum, the three uses it has had in sequence. The building now holds the Museum Schnütgen and its medieval art collection, which in 2023 and 2024 also showed the shrines and façade fragments lent from St. Pantaleon. Entry is to the museum rather than to a working parish church.
