St. Andreas
One of the twelve large Romanesque churches that the Förderverein Romanische Kirchen Köln has worked on since the association was founded in 1981, a programme covering fabric raised between 1000 and 1250. The English-language list of the group dates the foundation here to 974, in Altstadt-Nord. Reconstruction of the twelve after the wartime bombing of Cologne was not completed until the 1990s.
