Helmholtzplatz

A square in the middle of Prenzlauer Berg where the table is treated as ordinary neighbourhood furniture, in constant use by people who live within a few streets of it. Turning up alone is the normal way to play, and the regulars here are well known to each other. The green space is open at all hours.
