Ten Katemarkt
The Ten Katestraat in the Kinkerbuurt, Oud-West, was named a licensed vending street in 1910 in the same decision that created the Albert Cuyp, Dapper and Lindengracht markets, which makes this one of the city's four original street markets. It stayed a neighbourhood market rather than a destination one, and the tourist board sends bargain hunters here rather than to the centre. The stall rows are flat and kerb-free enough to be tagged wheelchair accessible.
