Dappermarkt
Runs the length of the Dapperstraat in Amsterdam-Oost, bounded by the Wijttenbachstraat and the Mauritskade and cut across by the Eerste van Swindenstraat. The Dapperstraat was one of four streets designated a 'ventstraat' (licensed street-vending street) in 1910, alongside the Albert Cuypstraat, the Ten Katestraat and the Lindengracht. It trades every day but Sunday and is among the busiest markets in the city, enough that it is window 48 of the Canon van Amsterdam.
