Het Marnix

Two pools behind the Singelgracht frontage: a 25 by 12.5 metre competition tank with the canal in view from the water, and a 20 by 10 metre instruction pool heated above it. Both have a floor that moves, wholly or in part, and massage jets. Disinfection is by salt solution rather than heavy chlorination, which is the reason to come here if chlorine bothers your eyes or skin. The building dates from 2006, replacing the demolished Marnixbad whose name it still carries in places.
